LCSW Assists Police With Arrest of Man With Warrant

A man with a warrant was arrested early this morning with the assistance of the Lakewood Civilian Safety Watch. At about 3:15 a.m., an LCSW unit patrolling the area of Squankum Road spotted a man who appeared to be acting suspicious.

After observing the man for several minutes walking in and out of private properties and between cars, the member phoned police.

 

Police arrived and located the man, still being watched by the member.

Several minutes later, the man was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant from the County, an LCSW coordinator said.
