LCSW Members Honored by Township for Assisting in Arrests

Several members from the Lakewood Civilian Safety Watch were honored Thursday evening by the Township and Police Department for assisting police in multiple arrests over the last week.

The volunteer members – on two separate occasions – were out patrolling when they spotted several parties breaking into unoccupied homes, and stealing copper. Police were alerted, and responded quick enough to apprehend the suspects still in the area.

Police Chief Rob Lawson, the Mayor, and Emergency Liaison Committeeman Meir Lichtenstien presented the members present with a plaque, acknowledging their achievements
