The Lakewood Civilian Safety Watch assisted in the arrest of two juveniles attempting to burglarize vehicles early this morning.
Shortly before 1 AM, LCSW received a call regarding two individuals acting suspiciously in the vicinity of 6th and Princeton.
Upon arrival moments later, a volunteer witnessed the suspects attempting to open vehicle doors, and phoned police, while keeping an eye on them.
Police arrived a short time later and arrested the juveniles for curfew violations.
Upon further investigation, Police also found them to be in possession of several phones, a GPS unit, a credit card, as well as an Airsoft Desert Eagle look-alike handgun.
